One of the leading experts in the field of magnetization, remagnetization and magnetic phase transition processes. His scientific activity is related to studies of homogeneous and inhomogeneous ferro- and ferrimagnetic metallic and non-metallic substances.
Graduated from the Ural State University (1964). In the Institute of Physics of Metals since 1963 he worked his way up from a laboratory assistant to a leading researcher. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1979), member of the editorial board of the journal "Physics of Metals and Metal Science". Trained 2 candidates of sciences. In 1997 he organized and headed the magnetometric center - the Department of Magnetic Measurements of the Center for Collective Use. Author of more than 200 publications.
